Birdies 4 Brains

This wonderful charity event is put on by Andy Hunter's colleague and good friend, Brian Eder. Brian started this event in 2012 after his sister suffered a severe brain aneurysm weeks before she was supposed to graduate from college. With the help of a team of amazing doctors and nurses at St. Cloud Hospital, Christine’s life was saved just minutes before death. Since the start in 2012, B4B has raised over $300,000 for the Brain Injury Alliance of MN who is a leader in helping victims and families with resources and raising public awareness for the 97,000 people who live with brain injuries.

Andy was honored to golf 100 holes in one day and be part of the group that raised over $100,000 for 4 amazing charities! Tee time was at 4:59am ;)

Glen Perkins is a husband, father and closer for the Minnesota Twins. He and his wife Alisha started Fifteen’s 5k in 2012 as a way to give back to the community combining her passion for running and his hometown baseball career with the Minnesota Gophers and now the Twins.

The race will benefit The Prairie Care Child & Family Fund, whose purpose is to provide support through education, services and research to mental health innovations throughout the Twin Cities. This charitible non-profit organization has a passion for making the community a happier and healthier place for all to thrive!
